Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly a mixed experience. The rooms were well-furnished and spacious, but the arched portals were a bit of a hazard for my tall husband. While the room was lovely and clean, the proximity to the dining room was convenient yet unexpected. Fresh milk was provided, but information on meal timings was lacking until I inquired. The service was warm and efficient, reflecting the family-run atmosphere. The location offered a peaceful retreat with a pleasant walk to Sidmouth, but the quietness felt awkward during meal times. Despite these quirks, the dining experience was delightful, showcasing a range of delicious dishes.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were quiet and comfortable, even though we ended up with a standard twin bed room instead of the twin bed we requested, but the garden view made up for it. The armchairs were really cozy, the bed was super comfortable with nice bedding, and the large towels were a nice touch. The only downside was the high rate of £135 for the room.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had high-end fittings. I had a lovely view of the rear garden area with a separate access to the garden, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great start to my day.
